Kerry Siderius was raised an apple orchardist's daughter on a small farm just up the Columbia River from Wenatchee Washington in a little town called Bridgeport. Their apple farm sat along the beautiful banks of the Columbia where Canada geese, salmon, and apples were plentiful. Kerry began painting her surroundings at three years old and she's never stopped.

After college, Kerry moved with her husband to Dallas Texas where she was hired as the sole staff watercolorist at the prestigious Beaux Gallery, in the Design District, in Dallas TX. While there, she enjoyed local fame among the elite decorators of Dallas. But Kerry always longed for the mountains and rivers of North Central Washington.

Now, 10 years and a baby later, she and her family have moved back home to reside in Wenatchee Washington. Kerry spends her days, now, driving the mountain dirt roads and through the small towns of North Central Washington with her little boy, her dog and her paints.

Kerry works in a unique blend of watercolor, ink and gouache and also paints oil on canvas. Her subject matter consists of the four vibrant seasons of the area's fruit and fruit trees, mountainscapes, townscapes, beautiful vineyard views, orchards, winerys and magnificent rivers of the area.

Kerry also paints by commission. She paints home, pet, or 'Specific scene' portraits from your photograph. Or from an artist photo by Kerry.

Her watercolors or oils can be seen on her website www.kerrysiderius.com or at Pak-it-Rite, FrameWorks, and Craft Warehouse.Or see "tour schedule" on her website for updates on showings around NCW.

Kerry has a special love for this part of the state, especially Wenatchee, and each of her paintings has a story behind it.
